“Intelligent and educated people are less likely to learn from their mistakes, for instance, or take advice from others. And when they do err, they are better able to build elaborate arguments to justify their reasoning, meaning that they become more and more dogmatic in their views.”
We call this the “Intelligence Trap”, the more you know, the more you tend to think you know. But the wise know that the more they know, the more there is to know.
Mysteries of the Universe. For everyone we find out, it leads to 10 more. You can spend your lifetime learning and still not reach 1% of all human knowledge.
But you’ll get the general Idea that it’s the pursuit of knowledge, not the acquiring of knowledge that is really the point. Just like it being all about the Journey and not the destination. What you learn along the way through real life experiences will craft a version of you that you want, you just don’t want it while your in the weeds.
So imagine who you want to be 50 years from now, and work backwards from there.
Until Tomorrow,
